Cascade Girl Organization will once again host the Oregon Honey and Mead Festival on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Craterian Theater and Vogel Plaza in Medford. Cascade Girl is a non-profit whose mission is pollinator survival. The Festival raises funds for education programs for veterans and kids and of course, our work with bees. Attendees will participate in tastings, learn about different types of hives, learn about mead production and explore the world of flowers as food for bees and people. Crafters will present bee, mead and honey themed items. OSU’s Dr. Andony Melathopoulos, Director of the Oregon Bee Project will present a public talk on Native Bees. Tickets $10 at the door.
