Conference Honey Show
The Fall Conference provides an opportunity to enter products of the hive from your bees in the Conference Honey Show. We look forward to your participation, no matter that things will be different this year as we have needed to move to Plan B. The fine winning entries from the 2019 OSBA Honey Show are:

Entering the Show
Again this year, the Conference Honey Show is open to OSBA members and all who register for the 2020 Fall Conference. Although OSBA members may enter without being registered, we hope you are able to attend!
Items can be either mailed or delivered by hand this year. Smaller quantities are requested; regretfully, items will not be returned.
Take care to include your name, email address, and the category entered for each item.

Guidelines
MINIMUM QUANTITIES
Comb Honey Sections – 1 square or 1 round
Extracting Frames each class – 1 frame
Extracted Honey – 1 standard, uniform queenline 1 lb. honey jar, glass or plastic (No pint jars)
All Other Honey (Creamed and chunk honey) – 1 wide mouth pint jar, glass or plastic
Photos – 8” x 10” photo (NO FRAME)
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
COMB HONEY: Class #1.
1. Comb Honey, any one variety (one round section) or (one square section)
2. Comb honey, any one variety
EXTRACTING FRAMES: Class #2
4. Full depth, any one variety (1 frame)
5 Shallow, any one variety (1 frame)
6. Western, any one variety (1 frame)
7. Semi, any one variety (1 frame)
EXTRACTED LIQUID HONEY: Class #3
One – 1 lb. queenline jar, glass or plastic (White, Amber, or Dark)
OTHER: Class #4
11. Creamed Honey (1 wide mouth pint jar, glass or plastic)
12. Chunk Comb Honey (1 wide mouth pint jar, glass or plastic)
BEESWAX: Class #5
- Natural or Sun bleached 1 lb. minimum (1 piece)
- Beeswax candles, 2 candles (100% beeswax). (dipped)
- Artistic beeswax, 1 lb. (100% beeswax). Entries can be several pieces but must be fastened together. Entries can be different shades of wax, i.e., brood wax or capping wax. No artificial enhancements.
