Becca Fain began her love affair with bees with her husband, Rick Olson, in 2008 when they attended a beginning beekeeper class held by the Lane County Beekeepers Association. Their first foray into keeping bees resulted in disaster, but they continued to pursue the hobby and build experience, and today they have 31 hives and are exploring queen rearing. In 2014 Becca was one of the founding members of the Oregon Central Coast Beekeepers Association and has served as secretary, newsletter editor, and president over the years.
