Mureen Walker recently retired from 24 years with the Curry County Fair, and several with Coos as well—though she is volunteering at the local fair in 2019 and the Oregon State Fair for the duration, for the second time. Mureen appreciates the mentor program of the Oregon Master Beekeeper Program, a pleasure in learning and sharing. She has been enjoying being a mentor now for several years in Coos and Curry Counties. Helping with honey bee welfare is at the top of her list.
