The Oregon State Beekeepers Association is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the health of honey bees and advancing the practice of beekeeping, apiculture, research, and education. Established under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the association operates exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes. Our mission is to bring together beekeepers across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest to strengthen and improve beekeeping and honey bee research initiatives.

The OSBA Research Fund provides an opportunity to support vital research in beekeeping and pollinator health. Each year, proceeds from the OSBA Fall Conference auction and donations received throughout the year—dedicated to research by a vote of the membership—are contributed to this fund. Donations and auction purchases together make it possible for the association to distribute funding annually to a variety of research programs that advance the science and practice of beekeeping.
